Honda Confirms Production of a New Acura NSX

For fans of the Acura sports car manufactured between 1990 -2005, the most exciting revelation at the Detroit Auto Show this week might not have been the unveiling of the new NSX concept … It might have been the announcement by the President and CEO of Honda Motor Co. that the NSX will go into production again within the next three years. Takanobu Ito laid to rest years of rumors regarding the sports car’s highly anticipated return. Not only that but he specified the car will be built in Ohio.

Okay, back to the concept. AutoGuide.com describes the new NSX design as “very much a classic supercar look, using low ground clearance, aggressive angles in the nose, a very low profile roof line and a windswept look running into a small rear spoiler to achieve its supercar style. Hard angles are all over the NSX which gives it a very rigid and serious stance.” It’ll sport a direct injection VTEC V6 engine, Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), and a dual clutch transmission.

Honestly, we can’t wait.

    1. Hi, Makaylah. We don’t have any NSXs in stock yet… they’re not scheduled to be in production for another year or two. But we will keep you posted, if you like!
