Are you in the market for a fire-engine red, convertible Ford, one that will turn heads and inspire envy everywhere you go? We have just the vehicle for you. Well, we don’t but we know where you can get one… and only one because it’s the last of its kind. It’s the oldest known surviving Ford, a 1903 Model A Rear Entry Tonneau, and it’s going up for auction in Hershey, Pennsylvania next month.
The car, one of the first three Fords ever built, first sold for $850. When it sold for the ast time to its fifth owner in 2007, the price tag had risen to nearly $700,000. It’s been beautifully restored and can seat a family of four, although we’re not sure how comfortably. And with a 2 cylinder, 8 horsepower engine, ya’ll will have plenty of time to enjoy the view.
