If you’ve visited Butler Kia recently you may have noticed receptionist Kathleen Gfroerer’s dropped a few pounds worth of hair! Kat’s always sported an admirable mane so it was a shock to see she’d chopped her natural curls to shoulder length. She tells us she had 10” cut off to donate to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides wigs and other hairpieces to young people in the U.S. and Canada who’ve lost their hair to a medical condition. Kat says she heard about organizations like “Locks of Love” on TV a long time ago and just wanted to help. This is the second time she’s grown out her hair only to chop it in the name of altruism. We think it’s fitting she did so during October which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thanks, Kat, for all you do!
