It’s settled: Women drive better than men. At least that’s the conclusion of a study conducted by Carrentals UK. The company, which specializes in offering car-for-hire comparisons, interviewed more than 700 drivers. The findings suggest women are superior to men when it comes to knowledge of road rules, accident frequency, and speeding citations. However, when asked, men tend to rate their skills higher than women rate theirs. Regardless of skill-sets both sexes could stand to brush up on their knowledge. The Carrentals study showed both men and women failed to identify a number of road signs.
An earlier study conducted by www.4autoinsurancequote.org suggested similar results but also acknowledged that men drive more miles than women.
