Hand-talkers, take note: Google’s working on technology that would allow you to communicate with your car via hand gestures!  Imagine motioning near the stereo to adjust the volume or jerking your thumb by your ear to move the seat back.  The car would read movements using a laser scanner and ceiling-mounted depth camera. Engadget reports that Google filed a patent on gesture-based auto controls not long after buying  motion-control development company Flutter.  It seems like this kind of program would be rife with possibility for error but, then again, anything might be better than those darn touchscreens!
