The future of transportation may be taking shape in Los Angeles, and it’s wild!  This year’s LA Design Challenge features an eclectic sampling of concept vehicles designed to traverse land and sea come the year 2025.  To meet the theme of “Biomimicry and Mobility” designers from around the globe looked to everything from traditional supercars to animals like the kangaroo, sun fish, even ants!  You’ll recognize some of the competing companies; Others may be new to you.  But either way you can bet they’ll all somehow influence the way we engage with transportation in the future.  The contest’s webiste says entries will be judged on the following:

– Application of human intelligence to biomimicry in unique ways to improve the efficiency of future vehicles
