New Year’s Resolution: No Phone While Driving

No more of this.

No more of this.

We’re two days into 2014 and I’ve just now decided to make a resolution: I’m going to leave the phone alone while driving. I rarely talk on the phone while behind the wheel – it’s simply too loud in the Wrangler to allow for conversation, especially on any kind of hands-free device – but do find myself fiddling with the phone – to check the time, call up music, even, I’m ashamed to say, snap the occasional photo. But yet another article about texting while driving on Yahoo News today reinforced the dangers of driving distracted. So, today I resolve to zip the phone into my purse and leave it there while on the road. Who’s with me?
